We are so excited to celebrate our first Christmas since re-opening! 🌟

🎄 Please join us on Friday, Dec. 19, at 2:30 p.m. for our Festival of Trees, and walk through a winter wonderland of beautifully decorated Christmas trees provided by our community partners. We will be raffling the trees off to support Matthew's Hope, Orange County, a local nonprofit that helps individuals and families move from homelessness to stable housing. 🏡 We are so glad to have Ailaine Cruz, PT, leading our therapy services as our Director of Rehabilitation once again! 💪 She served as our DOR for 8 years previously before Hurricane Ian led to our closing for repairs.

🗨️ "I was here when the building flooded," Ailaine shared. "To walk back into this beautifully redone space feels like a full-circle moment. This building holds so many memories, and seeing it transformed is a reminder of resilience and renewal. I feel honored to once again be part of this community, to lead alongside such a dedicated team, and to help our residents regain strength and independence in a place that now feels even more welcoming and full of hope." 💗

Ailaine, a Doctor of Physical Therapy with 33 years as a practicing PT, leads a team of in-house physical, occupational, and speech therapy professionals. Several other previous therapists have returned as well. Together, they work to help both inpatients and outpatients regain functional skills, mobility, and independence after surgery, illness, or injury. 👍

Chadia has lived in Central Florida for 18 years and has worked for Life Care Centers of America for almost 10, starting here at Life Care Center of Orlando! She has a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration from Everest University. 🎓

Since we opened, Chadia has talked with many seniors and their families about everything we offer, including a compassionate and family-like culture, 24/7 skilled nursing care, personalized care plans, medication management and strong communication between our team and residents' families. 💗
