We’re incredibly thankful for the Lake Oconee Church team who came out to serve our campus by helping paint the gym and take care of landscaping. Their willingness to show up, work hard, and serve with joy made a lasting impact on our space and on the men who use it every day.

“Let us not grow weary of doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
— Galatians 6:9

Thank you, Lake Oconee Church, for living out your faith through service and helping create a place of growth, healing, and hope.

✨ A Faith-Filled New Year ✨

As we welcome a new year, we’re reminded that with God, every day is a fresh start.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

At Penfield, we’ve seen firsthand how God’s grace restores lives and renews hearts. May 2026 be a year of healing, growth, and strengthened faith - one guided by His light and filled with hope.

Here’s to walking into the new year with gratitude for where we’ve been and trust in where God is leading.

As we celebrate this joyful season, we want to pause and say thank you. The heart of Penfield Addiction Ministries has always been the people - the individuals we serve, the families who support them, and the staff and alumni who walk this journey with compassion and hope.

Our team gathered this year to celebrate Christmas with laughter, fellowship, and a reminder of why this work matters so much. Every life restored, every family reunited, and every step forward in recovery is a gift we never take for granted.

Christmas reminds us that light often enters the world in quiet, unexpected ways. Recovery begins the same way - one brave decision, one small step, one moment of hope. We witness that miracle every day because of God’s grace working through our staff, donors, partners, and community.

Thank you for believing in the life-changing work happening at Penfield. May your Christmas be filled with peace, joy, and the warmth of God’s love.

From all of us at Penfield Addiction Ministries — Merry Christmas! 🎄✨

We’re incredibly grateful for moments like this. The Greenways generously blessed our guys with Christmas gifts, reminding them they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights.”
— James 1:17

Thank you, Greenways, for sharing the love of Christ in such a tangible way this Christmas season.

These acts of kindness speak hope and encouragement into lives that are being restored day by day.

We loved being part of the Lavonia Christmas Parade this year. Our Lavonia campus was proud to roll through town spreading Christmas cheer, sharing hope, and celebrating the season with our community.

Moments like this remind us that recovery is about connection, joy, and showing up where we live and serve. Thank you, Lavonia, for welcoming us and celebrating with us!

It’s been a full and meaningful month at Penfield! Our guys helped assemble the Christmas tree at Lake Oconee Church, we connected with leaders at the District Attorneys Conference in Young Harris, and a wonderful team from Lakeside Church volunteered their time to help us paint around the facility. Grateful for a community that shows up and supports recovery in action.

Celebrating November’s wins at Penfield.

Eight new clients took their first brave step toward recovery last month, and we couldn’t be more grateful to walk with them.

Every number represents a person.

Every person represents a story of hope beginning to turn.

If you or someone you love needs support, we’re here.

✨ Inspiration for the Journey: Advent Hope in the Midst of Recovery ✨

Advent invites us to slow down, breathe, and remember that hope is on the way. For centuries, Christians have used this season to watch, wait, and trust that God’s light will break through the darkness.

In many ways, that’s the journey of recovery.

Recovery doesn’t happen all at once. It begins quietly, with small steps and deep reliance on God’s strength. Advent reminds us that God works in the waiting - shaping us through patience, perseverance, and hope. Just as the world waited for the promised Savior, every person in recovery waits for the promise of new life, one day and one decision at a time.

“Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.” — Isaiah 40:31

As we walk through this season, may Advent renew our hearts with these truths:
• Hope grows in quiet places
• God meets us in the waiting
• Light always overcomes darkness
• New beginnings often arrive gently, like a child in a manger

Whether you’re in recovery, supporting someone who is, or simply needing renewed hope - you are not alone. God is near, God is faithful, and God is still writing your story.

The light is coming. 🌟
