With heartfelt sympathy, we announce the peaceful transition of Mr. Bobby Lee Woods.

Mr . Woods transitioned into eternity Sunday, May 17, 2026 at the age of 91.

The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Saturday May 30, 2026 from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at Carter Funeral Home.

The Farewell Life Celebration will be held Sunday, May 31, 2026 at 11:00am from the sanctuary of the Center Ridge Baptist Church, 822 Co. Rd. 25, Midway, AL.

The euglogy will be given by Pastor E. L. Heath.

Interment will follow in the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery
70 William Guice Rd. Midway, AL.

It can be startling how much more you learn about a relationship when it's over than when you were part of it. One of the hardest parts of death is that now that you've had time to figure out the relationship and appreciate its best parts, you don't have the chance to apply that understanding to it any longer.
