The Caring Staff of Carter Funeral Home announces the peaceful transition of Ms. Authur Mae Anglin of Midway, Alabama.

Ms. Anglin transitioned into eternity Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the age of 72.

The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday, October 10, 2025 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Carter Funeral Home, 302 Carter Street, Union Springs, AL.

The Farewell Life Celebration will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 1:00pm from the sanctuary of the First Baptist Church, 669 Old Troy Rd., Midway, AL.

Interment will follow in the Sandtown Cemetery, Midway, AL.

The caring Staff of Carter Funeral Home announces the peaceful transition of Ms. Lorene H. Allen of Union Springs, Alabama.

Ms. Allen transitioned into eternity Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the age of 72.

The Commemoration of Life will begin with a public visitation, Friday, October 3, 2025, from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Carter Funeral Home.

The Farewell Life Celebration will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11:00am from the Bullock County Career Technical Center, 304 Blackmon Ave, Union Springs, AL.
The eulogy will be given by Pastor Tommy Cooper.
Interment will follow in the St. John AME Church Cemetery, 533 Co Rd 30, Union Springs, AL.
