Telehealth therapy is a good option for some. That is why I am licensed to practice in Kansas and Florida in addition to Missouri. I am continuing to work on adding Illinois to my list of licensed states. I am not waiting for the Social Work Compact to go through but I will be very glad when it does.
I am also working with Headway so that I can accept insurance in FL and KS. Headway was also able to negotiate higher rates with some of the insurances I already work with (Cigna and Aetna, at no additional cost to the clients) and I can accept BCBS in MO through Headway as well. Headway is not currently working with Medicare so I am keeping my own insurance contracts so I can continue to work with Medicare Advantage plans.

This is one of the kindest emails I have seen in a while. The upcoming holidays can be really difficult for many people, especially those who have had a recent pregnancy loss. There are many other traumas that people endure that might make these holidays difficult. I appreciate the sensitivity that this company is showing by letting their email list opt out of holiday messages.
