🎡✨ Step right up — today StoryPoint Union transformed into a nostalgic boardwalk paradise!

From the sweet swirl of cotton candy to golden funnel cakes, crispy corn dogs, frosty sno cones, and buttery popcorn, the air was filled with the smells (and tastes!) of pure fun.

Friends and neighbors tried their luck at classic carnival games, cheered each other on, and laughed until their sides hurt — especially at our thrilling dunk tank, where brave leaders took the plunge for a great cause! 💦🎯

What a day of smiles, community, and memories in the making. ❤️

🌟 Today at StoryPoint Union, we had the incredible honor of hearing the life story of one of our very own—former U.S. Congressman Ken Lucas! 🇺🇸

With a little help from his loving wife Mary and daughters Kendal and Shannon, Ken took us on a journey through what he lovingly called his “strange and fun” life—and wow, was it captivating!

From growing up on a Kentucky farm to flying planes in the U.S. Air Force… from shaping the future of Northern Kentucky University to leading as County Judge-Executive and serving three powerful terms in Congress—Ken’s story is filled with heart, grit, and a whole lot of history.

We were absolutely enthralled by the photos (yes, even with Presidents!), personal artifacts from his time in office, and the warmth with which he shared his journey. His family calls him “Nice Guy”—and after today, we all understand why.

At StoryPoint Union, we believe everyone has a unique and meaningful story to tell—and it’s our greatest privilege when our residents share theirs. Thank you, Ken, for reminding us what a life of purpose truly looks like. ❤️

⚓️Today’s pontoon excursion was one for the memory books! We set sail from charming Warsaw, KY and cruised the Ohio River all the way to Rising Sun, IN—surrounded by sunshine, smooth waters, and the best crew you could ever ask for.

🕺💃 With a playlist that had us tapping toes, snapping fingers, and even breaking into a little riverboat boogie, the vibe was pure StoryPoint Union magic. There’s just something about good music, great views, and even better friends that turns a boat ride into an unforgettable adventure. 🎶

✨ At StoryPoint Union, we believe in living fully, laughing often, and making every moment count and today was proof we’re doing just that.

This month, saxophonist RC Smith brought the heat to StoryPoint Union with his smooth jazz sounds, and we were here for it! 🎷🎉 Here’s to another month of life, laughter, and unforgettable memories!

Linda, a proud 1954 Grove City High School grad and resident of StoryPoint Pickerington, lived her dream by throwing the first pitch at the Annual Fryer Park Softball Tournament! 🥎🥎 From a celebratory send-off at the community to a perfect pitch down the middle, Linda’s smile said it all. She wrapped up her big moment with cheers, hugs, and a shot of Crown Royal! 🥃🎉 Our residents are at the heart of everything we do, their joy is our greatest reward. ❤️✨

🎄 Merry Christm… wait, that can’t be right?! Well, here at StoryPoint Union it sure was, because we turned up the holiday cheer for a full day of Christmas in July! From the sound of jingle bells to the sight of Santa himself, our community was transformed into a mid-summer winter wonderland.

We kicked things off with Minute to Win It holiday games that kept both the Christmas spirit and the spirit of competition alive and well. Our Crafter’s Collective workshop took things to the next level as we gave antique stair spindles a second life, turning them into charming wintery works of art. The day wrapped up with a boisterous Christmas Sing-Along, filling the halls with laughter, music, and plenty of jolly jingles. And of course, the highlight for everyone was snapping a picture (or sneaking a kiss!) with the big man himself, Santa Claus – proving that even in July, the magic of the season is alive and well here at StoryPoint Union!
