🍂 It’s Fall, Y’all!

🍁 We had the best time on our excursion to our neighbors at Kinman Farms. From browsing fresh produce and cozy homegoods to making friends with the farm animals 🐐— it was a day full of simple joys and autumn charm.

Nothing says fall like good company, great finds, and time spent on the farm! 🚜

🍻 What a day!

We kicked things off with a delicious excursion to Little Miami Brewing Co., where the food and brews hit the spot. Then we headed to Raptor Inc. in Cincinnati for an unforgettable educational experience. 🦅

From learning about the incredible work they do to getting up close with majestic birds of prey, we were amazed and inspired. A perfect mix of fun, flavor, and fascinating wildlife! 🌿

We came together to share the beauty of words, some of us reading our own original poems, others bringing cherished classics that have stood the test of time. 💛 The room was filled with laughter, reflection, and heartfelt applause for every brave voice that took the mic.

There’s something truly special about gathering as a community to celebrate creativity, storytelling, and the power of poetry. 📖

🍂This month our Crafter’s Collective had a blast turning everyday objects into elegant fall décor! From wooden shims transformed into candy corn, Jenga blocks stacked into pumpkins, to shower hooks sparkling as crystal pumpkins, and everything in between, we put our creativity to work.

The results? Fabulous folk crafts that now bring a cozy, autumn-ready charm to our homes. 🎃 It was a month filled with imagination, laughter, and community spirit, and we’re so proud of the beautiful pieces we created together!

🚢What an unforgettable day! We ventured to Cincinnati for Titanic: The Immersive Voyage Exhibition, and it truly felt like stepping back in time. From seeing authentic artifacts to being transported through breathtaking Virtual Reality, every moment left us amazed.

The history, the stories, and the immersive details brought the Titanic to life in a way we’ll never forget. An incredible journey we were so glad to share together! 💙

🍫🔥 Nothing brings people together like a gooey, chocolatey treat! We had such a sweet time enjoying our DIY S’mores bar here at StoryPoint Union. From perfectly toasted marshmallows to creative topping combos, it was fun (and delicious!) making memories one bite at a time.

🎶What a night! Our final performance of this year’s Summer Concert Series was one for the books! Velvet Soul brought the energy, and we were all feeling it—dancing, laughing, and making memories with friends and neighbors. 🕺

We’re so thankful to everyone who came out and made it a night to remember, from celebrating music, community, and friendship… and even a birthday or two along the way. 🥳

Special thanks to Homewatch CareGivers for keeping us cool with their fun shades, and to our amazing StoryPoint Union team for once again producing such top-quality events. 🌟

The 1st Annual Senior Living Culinary Challenge is here — an American Culinary Federation competition celebrating the passion, creativity, and skill of chefs redefining dining in senior living.

We’re proud to have 10 StoryPoint Group chefs competing alongside peers from across the industry, all showcasing dishes that bring comfort, joy, and flavor to the seniors they serve every day.

The competition will take place on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the GFS Corporate Headquarters in Grand Rapids, MI.

🇺🇸 This morning, we gathered once again at our flag for our “Rise and Remember” program, honoring 24 years since September 11th. Guided by our Life Enrichment Director, Clinton, we shared a moving time of reflection and prayer.

🔔 At 8:46 AM—the exact moment the first tower was struck—we rang our bells in solemn remembrance. The silence that followed carried with it the weight of memory, the honor of sacrifice, and the strength of unity.

🎶 A particularly special moment came as our very own Curry Meece led us in the National Anthem, his voice rising proudly against the morning sky—a reminder of both the sorrow of that day and the enduring spirit of our nation.

♥️ Today, we remembered the lives lost, honored the heroes, and found strength in one another. May we continue to carry forward the light of resilience, unity, and hope.

✨Forever Miss Kentucky 2021, Haley Farmer, graced us with her incredible voice and heartfelt performance. The room was already filled with joy and music—but then came an extra spark of history and pride. In the audience sat our very own Mary Lucas, who just so happens to be the 1956 Miss Kentucky Runner-Up! 👑

Two generations of Kentucky royalty, talent, and grace sharing the same space—it doesn’t get more special than that. 💖

We headed out for lunch at Union’s newest and hottest spot—El Asadero! From sizzling plates to creamy table-side guacamole 🥑, every bite was full of flavor.
