⭐ What a great day at the New York IT PA Recruitment Event at NYIT’s Long Island campus!

Our team loved meeting so many driven and passionate PA students and young physicians. The turnout was incredible, and it was inspiring to connect with future providers. We’d like to especially recognize Dr. Sanjay Shetty, Associate Chairman at Mercy Medical Center, and Danniya Samuel, PA Lead at Mercy Medical Center, for joining us and sharing their time, insight, and experience with attendees.

This week, we’re proud to celebrate Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and the vital role they play in delivering exceptional patient care. At PEP, our Emergency Medicine Physicians collaborate daily with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, collectively known as Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Their advanced training, clinical expertise, and compassionate approach enable them to diagnose and treat patients, prescribe medications, and bridge critical gaps in access to care. By combining medical knowledge with a deep commitment to their patients, APPs strengthen the quality and responsiveness of healthcare in every community they serve.
