🪡💪 Dr. Teddie had the pleasure to add to his dry needling expertise and finish a certification through The Institute of Clinical Excellence recently. He spent the weekend refining his previous skills and learning new techniques in dry needling focusing on Tendon Needling, Scar Mobilization, and Peripheral Nerve Stimulation. With these new skills and techniques acquired, he is now an :
✨ICE Physio Certified Specialist in Dry Needling!

ICE Physio is an organization that not only guides mastery of technique, but provides the most recent evidence in dry needling research supporting the potentially massive benefits of adding dry needling into a patients Plan of Care. With emphasis placed on safety and proper patient care, they educate clinicians on a large scope of diagnoses and when, where, and how to effectively add dry needling.

‼️Always remember, this is not a one size fits all treatment. Our goal at Family Ties is to tailor treatment specifically to you! We use these certifications as another tool in our tool box to help YOU make YOUR life better! There is a huge consensus in the highest level of evidence that Dry Needling is MOST effective when paired with resistance training and movement!

As some may already know, this is Teddie’s favorite thing to prescribe to his patients AND his favorite way to live his own life. We always end our long days of class with a group workout, just as everyone should get up and get moving.
