We had a groovy time celebrating 70’s Day! ✌️🪩 Residents enjoyed 70’s trivia, glow-in-the-dark accessories, classic music, beanbag twister, and a throwback favorite — Jello dessert! It was a far-out day filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of retro vibes.

Megan has been a valued part of our team since 2023, helping support and improve the lives of our residents each day through her compassion, knowledge, and commitment to quality care.

Today we’re proud to recognize Janet Williams, CNA, for an incredible 36 years of dedicated service at Uniontown Nursing & Rehab. 💙

Janet has been a CNA for 36 years after first entering healthcare through a personal care home, where her mother-in-law helped her get started in the field. She quickly discovered how much she enjoyed caring for others and has continued making a difference ever since.

She shares that her favorite part of the job is the residents — especially spending time talking with them and hearing stories about their lives and experiences. One of the most rewarding parts of her time at Uniontown has been seeing how much residents enjoy the activities and special moments shared throughout the facility.

Outside of work, Janet enjoys gardening, riding motorcycles with her husband, and spending time with her family.

We are incredibly grateful for Janet’s compassion, dedication, and 36 years of care for our residents and community.

Today we’re proud to recognize Anna Bosley, CNA, for an incredible 36 years of service at Uniontown Nursing & Rehab. 💙

Anna shares that what she loves most about being a CNA is the relationships she has built with residents and their families over the years. She especially enjoys listening to residents share stories from years past and learning more about their lives and experiences.

Her favorite part of being at Uniontown is seeing the smiles and gratitude from residents when they know she is there caring for them.

Anna also shares an important perspective for those entering healthcare: this work is about more than just a job — it’s about being there for people when they need compassion, support, and quality care the most. After experiencing the care her own father received in a facility, she gained an even deeper appreciation for the role caregivers play in the lives of residents and families.

She believes great caregivers are compassionate, respectful, good listeners, and always make residents feel valued and cared for.

We are incredibly grateful for Anna’s 36 years of dedication, kindness, and the lasting impact she has made on so many lives at Uniontown Nursing & Rehab.

Here’s a look back at some of the fun from National Skilled Nursing Care Week at Uniontown Nursing & Rehab! Staff enjoyed a round of bingo along with ice cream novelties as part of the week’s celebration.

It was a great opportunity for everyone to relax, have fun together, and enjoy some well-deserved treats during a week dedicated to recognizing the heart of skilled nursing care.
