SERVUS SAINTS
Romans 12:2
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God--this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will.
1 Timothy4:8-10
āfor bodily discipline is only of little profit, but godliness is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. It is a trustworthy statement deserving full acceptance. For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers.ā
Ephesians 4:1-16
I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spiritājust as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your callā one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. 7 But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ's gift. Therefore it says,
āWhen he ascended on high he led a host of captives,ļæ½ and he gave gifts to men.
(In saying, āHe ascended,ā what does it mean but that he had also descended into the lower regions, the earth? He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
Before we are Saints, we are Servants for God. In service to Him we give Him all He deserves of us. Our life. Because He gave us His. We ought to live out our lives for His glory that others may see who He is through us. That they too would be saved. But this requires being completely surrendered to the LORD. By fully surrendering to Him and putting ourselves and wants to death we allow His Holy Spirit to transform us. By teaching us to be who Godās people are to be, saints. But take joy this journey doesnāt have to be alone. Thatās why I believe Servus Saints was created.
Servus Saints is discipleship training with the tools of health, wellness, fitness, and a monthly Exodus. All done with the purpose of teaching biblical truths and how to apply them to oneās life. To cultivate the Kingdomās culture of well rounded Christians. We as the church have neglected the care for the Christians health and well being for too long, leaving it to oneās own personal responsibility, and the world. This ought not to be so. We are called to care for our temples and encourage each other to do the same. We should know what is good and bad for us, being active and learning skills to care, protect and lead in our families. Being the example for the world to follow. As Christ is our example. Doing all this towards the goal to be who God wills and calls us to be for Him so He can move through us to be glorified. Growing in knowledge and intimacy with God along the way. All while taking care of the body Heās bestowed us with. To become the servants He requires us to be so He can make us the Saints He wants us to be.
To be Servus Saints.
