90 y/o female. 6 months ago had an acuity of 20/100 in this right eye. She had very dense punctate keratitis that covered most of the corneal surface. She was afraid she’d lose her drivers license and independence. Cognitively and physically she functions better than I do. We ended up doing a prokera amniotic membrane that has left her 20/25 in said eye. Her cornea looks almost perfectly clear and she’s got her independence back! So proud of this case!!
