19 years ago today, we opened our doors and took a chance. What was a hope and dream turned into a reality. It has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have been so blessed to have a wonderful staff and a patient base that has become a second family. Thank you to all who’ve made these 19 years possible! I look forward to the next 19!

This patient was new to me a few months ago. She had been on multiple dry eye medications, bilateral punctal plugs, and using warm compresses. Her vision was 20/100 and was told this was the best she could get. She complained of feeling tired all of the time, so she’s had her systemic medications adjusted and changed with no relief. I performed bilateral amniotic membrane placements and this is her result 2 weeks later. She’s 20/25, eyes feel much better, and she doesn’t have her tired feeling anymore! The first photo is her cornea prior to membrane insertion, and the second is her follow up visit. So happy for her!
