Hybrid LMT/Chiropractic Therapy Assistant full time position!
We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and caring LMT to join our team! We want someone who will complement our existing practice, contribute to our patients' well-being, and integrate into our office as part of our dynamic team of staff, doctors, and other practitioners. This is a hybrid position where you would earn an hourly wage as a Chiropractic Assistant, plus a percentage of collections for each massage. Some shifts each week will be dedicated to working as a CA, others will be open for booking sessions. We will provide you with a room in our beautiful building in which to practice massage, as well as a built-in client base of hundreds of patients coming through our practice every week. Your responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:
- Providing therapeutic massages for relaxation, pain relief, decreased stress and muscle tension
- Collaborating with the chiropractors and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans
- Educating patients on self-care practices and techniques for ongoing wellness
- Providing patient therapies such as traction, electrical muscle stimulation, spinal decompression, shock wave therapy and more (on which we will train you)
- Maintaining accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans
- Staying updated on medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and the latest trends in massage therapy
The requirements of the position include:
- Licensure as a Massage Therapist in the state of Ohio
-Proof of Liability Insurance
Familiarity with trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage is highly desirable.
