We’re seeing an increase in influenza (flu) cases across the county. The flu spreads easily, especially during the winter months, but there are simple steps you can take to help protect yourself and others.

🦠 Common flu symptoms include:
• Fever or chills
• Cough, sore throat
• Body aches, headache
• Fatigue

✅ Tips to stay well:
• Wash your hands often with soap and water
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick
• Cover coughs and sneezes
• Clean frequently touched surfaces
• Get plenty of rest and stay hydrated
• Avoid large gatherings when possible while the flu is spreading
• Stay home if you are sick — until you are fever-free for 24 hours

If symptoms worsen or you’re at higher risk for complications, contact your healthcare provider.

Let’s work together to keep our community healthy 💙
