Hello everyone, the current issue of the newsletter is in the mail now and a few have been delivered in Maine. Please watch for them and maybe put a post here when you get yours - just so I can see how delivery is going. They are coming bulk rate from the printer in Waterville, Maine. In the meantime, here is a page from the issue showing the War of 1812 Widow's Pension of Patience (Jenness) (Peavey) Bickford, widow of Aaron Bickford. It's a great document with lots of data on both of them. Thank you for your support and patience with this issue. Enjoy!

Volume 32, No. 1 The big news is that this and futures issues will come to you from Italy, which is where I retired. Our Bickford Archive was acquired by the Maine Historical Society in Portland, Maine in September 2024. All our research, letters, correspondence, photos, ephemera, and "things" will be preserved there for research. All items were scanned and I have them with me here in Italy.

Results continue to come in for our Bickford DNA Project. Project Administrator, Juanita Hanger has shared some of the latest results with us on her project page of the current issue. Current test results are in on a few of the descendants of Stephen E. Bickford (1835-1900) of S**o, Maine and Virginia City, Montana. These results have finally given us a clue to his ancestry. Also, test results from the descendants of Eri Bickford (1815-1874) show which line they do not below with. If you descend from either of these families, please see the results below. And, if you want to share your test, or test for us, contact Juanita. Great work, thanks all!
