Happy Valley Special Hockey Association A team to providing opportunities for individuals with cognitive or developmental disabilities to play hockey. We are affiliated with ASHA and USA Hockey.

We support both a special hockey team, the Beavers, and a sled hockey team, the Coyotes. We practice at Pegula Ice Arena and participate in tournaments throughout the winter season.

We seek to remove barriers so that individuals with disAbilities can participate in the sport of ice hockey in an inclusive, positive, and supportive environment. Community volunteers of all ages and from all walks of life provide friendship, support, and encouragement, to put the focus on our players abilities, then share the vision of what we CAN do in the local area and beyond.

HVSHA currently supports two adaptive ice hockey programs: the Happy Valley Beavers, a Special Hockey team for individuals with developmental disabilities, and the Happy Valley Coyotes, a unified Sled Hockey team for individuals with and without physical disabilities.
