That’s where we come in. We provide birth and postpartum doula care to the South Shore community, enabling you to feel comfortable and confident in your journey to parenthood. We provide evidence-based support to help you make the choices that are right for you. With zero judgement. Always.

We are here, we are excited and we are ready to support you!

Modern Birth Support is a growing collective of birth workers providing non-judgemental support and evidence-based education, how and when you need it most. We offer full spectrum doula services, lactation support, birth photography, childbirth education and perinatal reiki for the South Shore of Nova Scotia.

We are passionate about providing non-judgemental, evidence-based birth support and education throughout our community. We are inclusive of all backgrounds, ethnicities, sexual orientations and gender identities. We seek to provide all birthing people with support if they want it, regardless of income.
