Target has issued a voluntary recall of a Good & Gather baby food product due to an “elevated level of lead.”
The recalled product is “Good & Gather Baby Pea, Zucchini, Kale & Thyme Vegetable Puree Net Wt 4 oz. (113g). 6+ months,” according to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA). The nationwide recall for 25,600 units of product, which began March 12, is “Class II.”

The FDA announced that New York Wholesale group is recalling several types of herbal powders, because they can be contaminated with lead and arsenic. The products included are:
• Zaarah Herbals Rasayan Churan
• Zaarah Herbals Gurmar Powder
• Zaarah Herbals Vasaka Powder
• Zaarah Herbals Bhringraj Powder
These products were distributed to retailers located in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and California between 12/20/2024 and 01/07/2025.
We encourage you to share this information with your colleagues and partners.

New York Wholesale Group of Hicksville, NY is recalling Zaarah Herbals Rasayan Churan, Zaarah Herbals Gurmar Powder, Zaarah Herbals Vasaka Powder, and Zaarah Herbals Bhringraj Powder to the consumer/user level because it has the potential to be contaminated with elevated levels of lead and arsenic.
