In case you have not been informed, my employment was terminated 5 days after I turned in my two week notice. I apologize to those that were scheduled to see me there. Alright people, I have given notice at my current employment. This means my office will be available for appointments 5 days a week starting September 1st. I will have appointments available at 3pm, 5pm, 7pm, and 8:45pm Thursday-Monday. The website will be changed to reflect this new schedule next week. I hope to see y’all soon.

Private massage practice is almost ready. I know I told many people that I would be available tomorrow, but I am finalizing the office this weekend (1713 Fort View Rd.) and will have a website up by the end of the week. Until then, if you would like to schedule an appointment for any Sunday from here out starting 5/25/25, give me a call at 512-626-4052. I require 24 hour notice and I will have availability at 3pm, 5pm, 7pm, and 9pm every Sunday. The 9 pm appt. is for relaxation massage only. I am offering 1 hour full body relaxation ($100), 1 hour half body therapeutic ($125), and 1.5 hour full body therapeutic ($150) massages. Thank you to all my clients that have supported this adventure.

The website is gone. I could not afford to keep it going. I am not sure I will keep this page. I am fully into massage mode again and I am only occasionally doing herbal activities. If I do keep this page going, what would y'all like to see content-wise?

I know it has been forever since I posted anything and it was not my intention but sometimes life just gets too busy. I originally took my marshmallow recipes off the blog because so many people told me I should not share them freely when I was trying to sell the finished product, however since then my farmer's market days have come to an end and the need for a more stable income has prevented me from returning to it. Soon I will be making changes to the website, as I will no longer be selling products from it. Instead, starting next month, I will make my recipe available for a small fee. Until that time, if you are interested in the recipe please contact me through maxh@maxtheherbalist.com and I will make it available to you.

I hope to focus the website toward more of just an informational outlet because I have seen that many people are not sure where to start their herbal journey and that information online is not always reliable. It is my desire to provide reliable information in a manner that is appropriate to where you are in your journey through my blog and reference page. Eventually I will add classes also.
