Autism Kids proudly presents the “‘Y’All Means All” Inclusive Community Garden!

Designed to be accessible and inclusive to all, the garden is located at 6650 Park South Drive in Charlotte.

We are planting pumpkins for our Oct. 4 Inclusive Fall Festival & Sensory-Friendly Trunk-or-Treat for the children to pick and take home.

Next planting season, we will have the kids tend the garden while learning about the environment. Meanwhile, the teens and adults will get job skills training by selling the produce at the local farmer’s market.

A true community garden, it was created with love for our neighbors. We want your children and adults in the community to learn about the environment, benefit from nature and acquire valuable job skills training. We love you Charlotte! ❤️👑

AUTISM KIDS PROUDLY PRESENTS OUR INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY GARDEN!!!

Here’s how it will work:

The garden is open to anyone who is Neurodivergent, Disabled, etc. - anyone who could benefit is welcome. That’s why it’s called the “Y’all Means All” inclusive community garden!

The kids will work the land while learning about the environment from experts. For those who can’t tolerate getting their hands messy, we will have sensory bins and toys (as well as close access to a playground on site).

Once the garden grows produce, the teens and older adults will, with assistance, take the produce to the local farmer’s market to sell, thus giving them job skills.

We are breaking ground soon and putting in pumpkin seeds - we will have pumpkins in time for our Fall Festival & sensory-friendly trick or treat for the kids! 🎃
