A mom in the community has an urgent need for three car seats. She has exhausted every known resource in an attempt to find some, but no one has been able to help. We are sharing here in case anyone in the area is able to assist. She needs two of the convertible style car seats (the kind you'd use for a child around the age of 3) and a booster seat for a child a little older than that.

🌸 Board Member Spotlight: Jaime Meadows 🌸

We are so blessed to introduce you to Jaime Meadows, our faithful and compassionate Chairman of the Board here at The Mother’s Heart.

Jaime is a lifelong resident of the Northern Neck and a homeschooling mom to two boys, with another sweet boy on the way! Her heart for the unborn has always been strong, but after personally experiencing the loss of a baby, her passion to serve in a pro-life ministry grew even deeper.

One day while scrolling Facebook, Jaime came across an article about a new pregnancy resource center in the Northern Neck. She reached out, got connected—and the rest is history!

Jaime is known for her servant heart, her kindness, and her genuine compassion. She has a natural way of showing the love of Christ to everyone she meets, making her a true light in our community. We are deeply thankful for her leadership as Chairman of the Board, helping us stay focused on our mission and guiding us forward with grace and wisdom.

This market is held every 2nd and 4th Friday evening in the parking lot of the King William High School. We hope to be there for some future markets as well!

We come to you this Wish List Wednesday with a very specific request. We are thankful for the items the community is faithfully donating for us to share with babies and their families. 🩷 We need to adjust our storage space to sort and organize these donations better.

The shelves pictured are extremely affordable and are currently on sale - and would be perfect for our space! If anyone is led to help in this way, it would be an enormous blessing and so appreciated. The link to these is in the comments. We could really use six of them! Thank you in advance!

🌟 Meet Board Member Kevin Harris! 🌟

Today, we’re honored to introduce one of our board members at The Mother’s Heart — a man with many titles: son, father, paramedic, firefighter… but the one he treasures most? A son of the most holy, gracious, and loving God.

Born and raised right here in the Northern Neck, Kevin grew up in a strong Christian family. But like many do, he spent years chasing his own path — until God, in His mercy, revealed His love, grace, and peace.

Before coming to know the Lord, his most treasured role was being a dad — and that still holds deep meaning for him today. He’s a proud father of two wonderful kids and stepfather to a beautiful stepdaughter. “They are the greatest blessing God has given me with my time on this earth,” Kevin says. “A love between a parent and a child is the closest we can get to God’s love here on earth.”

His heart for moms, dads, and children is what makes his work with The Mother’s Heart so special. He desires for every family to know the One who is love — our Lord Almighty — and to experience the beauty of His love through the gift of their children.

We are grateful for his leadership, passion, and testimony. 🩷

We are always looking for compassionate volunteers to help with:

- Sorting donations
- Assisting clients in our center
- Preparing care packages
- Helping at events
