44 duck eggs in two nests!!!
We love our ducks!
They free range and are so cost effective compared to chickens.
They eat barely any feed.
And lay so much.

Reshare:
Homemade cheese with
1 liter of milk,
half a lemon and
1 yogurt.

The idea of crafting homemade cheese may seem daunting, but in reality, it's far from it. Not only is it achievable and delightful, but it's also incredibly cost-effective.
The ingredients required are straightforward.

Ingredients:

1 cup of plain yogurt

Juice of half a lemon

1 liter of milk

Cheese mold (round)

Cotton cloth

Instructions:

Begin by pouring the milk into a saucepan and heat it for approximately 15 minutes.

Next, incorporate the yogurt and lemon juice, stir gently for a few moments, and let the mixture rest for 3 hours.

Following that, strain the mixture into a separate saucepan. Utilize the cotton cloth to separate the cheese curd from the whey.

The curd collected in the cloth should then be molded and chilled in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

After chilling, unwrap the cloth and sprinkle a pinch of salt over the cheese.

Re-wrap it and return it to the refrigerator for 8 hours.

Once the cheese has rested in the fridge for this duration, it's ready to serve.

Here's a handy tip: don't discard the leftover whey! It can be repurposed in a variety of other recipes. Many people use it for baking bread or cookies, marinating meats, whipping up fruit smoothies, and more.
