Please meet our part time RN, Taylor McGuire.

Taylor has been at Avant for two years. After going through her own health journey and recovering from some severe pain/illness, she developed a passion for holistic & integrative health. When Dr. Peterson contacted her about an open RN position, she was eager to sit down and chat about the position. After her conversation with Dr. Peterson she knew she wanted to be a part of this amazing and unique clinic.

Her go-to coffee order is an iced oat milk latte.
Outside of her work at the clinic she runs a private practice as a Holistic Wellness Coach. She loves coming alongside people during their journey to help them achieve true and lasting healing. She is also a mom to two young girls which keeps her busy and on the go. Her favorite pastimes include reading, playing volleyball and spending time with her family.

She will soon be facilitating a monthly healing support group at the clinic—more information coming soon!

Please meet Avant’s Medical Assistant and TruDose Technician, Hollie Otto.

Hollie has worked for Avant for a year but has been in the medical field for nearly 30 years. She has known Dr. Peterson professionally and personally so she jumped at the chance to work with her because she knows Dr. Steph truly cares for her patients.

Hollie said that it has been an amazing journey to learn integrative medicine from one of the best in her field and she's looking forward to applying everything to her own health and wellness.

Hollie starts the day with black coffee and later a Diet Coke or Poppi. When she's not at Avant, she helps keep the books for her husband Mark's business and spends time with her sons Conner, age 22, and 19-year-old Caleb, two dogs and a cat.

Hollie loves to be creative. She enjoys interior design, decorating her home for the holidays, painting furniture, and creating fun displays inside and outside.
