Operation Oasis we have given out over £220,000 and given out over 33,000 food boxes & toiletries.

Operation Oasis is the practical response of the OASIS Community Centre and Churches in Worksop & Retford during COVID and since with the energy and cost of living crisis.

OASIS ‘GARDENING FOR LIFE’ volunteers have done it again. They have won the GREEN FLAG for Parks and Gardens and sit amongst some the best gardens in the UK. Thanks to over 40 people who work regularly, giving their time to help and support Steve and the team at Oasis Community Centre and Gardens and create a beautiful Oasis for all the community to use and enjoy.

Look what’s been happening at OASIS Community Centre this Spring. Spring flowers everywhere from our years of Commuity Bulb planting days. Baby chicks from our rare breeds hens; baby Lovebirds in our aviaries which have fledged the nest this week; birds and bees everywhere; blossoms and buds on the trees and new life springing up all over. THANK YOU so much to everyone who has stepped up to help me with this Crowdfunder especially in these last two days. We have just a few hours left and we have reached our target. We needed 50 people and we have now 53 sponsors! And we needed to get at least £5000 and we have reached £5390. What amazing friends OASIS has and what a Christmas miracle happened today! We will be able to do so much with this money to help so many people. Thank you all so much.

HELP NEEDED TODAY - We have one day left of the AVIVA challenge.... TODAY! We have done quite well but we still need another 10 sponsors or more to be able to win the extra £5,000 funding from SPORT ENGLAND. Every gift will be doubled by AVIVA and then the total amount doubled up to 5000 by Sport England. But that offer closes at the end of today. Can you help me to achieve this please!

OPERATION OASIS - Putting a smile on the faces of people in Bassetlaw!

OPERATION OASIS - Community action putting a smile on Bassetlaw faces.

OASIS Community Centre have been doing various activities and giving out many things to local people in need, people who are locked in and isolated and people who are serving the community in different ways in Bassetlaw area during the Corona virus crisis period.

The following are some of the ways we are helping the community -
