🌟 Exciting News!

We’re proud to share that our Infinity Center for Behavior Services (ICBS) is joining forces with Advancing Beyond the Spectrum (ABS) in a new partnership that expands support for children with Autism and their families. 💙

Over the past year, our teams have built a shared vision rooted in clinical excellence, community impact, and growth. As ICBS operations transition under ABS, families can expect continued high-quality care with access to even more evidence-based services and support. All services will continue at our Eldersburg location in Carroll County, ensuring a seamless experience for families.

ABS, led by Board Certified Behavior Analysts, is recognized for its exceptional work in ABA therapy, family training, advocacy, and community engagement. This collaboration opens new doors for children and families and deepens our commitment to ensuring every child has what they need to thrive.

💬 “We are thrilled to partner with ABS to support families throughout Carroll County and beyond,” said Cindy Truitt, President & CEO of Humanim. “Together, we’re broadening the spectrum of care and opportunity for those we serve.”

📣 Open enrollment is now available!

GO ASHNA! She is such an incredible member of our team making a huge impact on the progress of the children we serve.

We appreciate our staff working directly with those we serve at the Infinity Center for Behavior Services, like Ashna, a Lead Registered Behavior Technician. Ashna is incredibly knowledgeable and kind, always showing up with a team player attitude and a willingness to step in and help whenever needed. She is extremely creative and invents great ideas for group activities to put together for the children at the center. She’s always quick to tend to anyone in need of support, with her colleague stating, “If anyone walkies for anything, she is so fast to answer.”

At the Infinity Center, we not only support the children we serve but also empower their parents to strengthen their families. Hear from Brittany, a proud parent of our center:

"Nathaniel now actively engages with his younger brother, engaging in shared games and exhibiting patience while waiting for his turn. I now confidently manage activities with both children independently, a newfound source of joy and relief. He also actively participates in daily activities like dressing independently, brushing his teeth, and washing his hands, tasks he did not perform before enrolling in the ICBS."

Our center specializes in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), a leading approach in the treatment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We are excited to reintroduce ABA therapy, a scientific discipline focused on understanding and improving behavior. It is widely recognized as the gold standard for children with ASD.

According to WebMD, ABA therapy benefits individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities in impactful ways. Read how above.

The Infinity Center transforms lives, preparing children with autism for success and bringing hope to their families. Hear directly from a thriving family, Erin, Nick, and their son Nicholas, and see how The Infinity Center helped them overcome challenges and achieve success together.

"Nick (dad) and I have been a team since high school in the early 2000s. Our first great adventure was when our son, Nicholas Arlo, was born in 2017 having survived IVF. Nicholas’ arrival was followed by a challenging three-month stay in the NICU due to extreme prematurity. While most parents settle into routines and go back to work, we had home nurse visits and early intervention services. Nicholas thrived and grew before our eyes but sadly around age two he experienced his first regression. He lost the three words he knew and stopped talking altogether. A once full plate of a variety of food groups turned into only chicken nuggets for every meal and snack. Eye contact was lost and as time went on, self-injurious behaviors and "eloping" (running or wandering away) began.
..

A coworker mentioned the Infinity Center. Armed with just the name, we researched and contacted the center. Within a month, Nicholas was evaluated and signed up for treatment. It was a scary new beginning to try solely therapy instead of the traditional route of pre-k for a 4-year-old but we were exhausted and willing to try anything to help Nicholas’ personality come back to us as opposed to the shell of a boy that he had become."
