When my daughter Grace turned 15, finding a summer program that was age-appropriate, educational, and genuinely enjoyable seemed impossible. That challenge inspired Summer at PosAbilities, an inclusive program rooted in ABA principles and filled with fun, friendship, and growth. Now celebrating our 5th year, we continue to improve, creating meaningful summer experiences for all abilities!

Calling All BCBAs: Join Us in Expanding Therapeutic Consultation Services in Northern Virginia!

Are you a BCBA looking to make a broader impact in the ID/DD community? PosAbilities Clinic is seeking BCBAs interested in providing Therapeutic Consultation (TC) services in Northern Virginia!

What is Therapeutic Consultation?
Therapeutic Consultation is a vital service under Virginia’s Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waiver, designed to support individuals with ID/DD, their families, and caregivers. Unlike direct ABA therapy, TC focuses on developing individualized behavior support plans, training caregivers, and collaborating with teams to enhance the quality of life and promote skill development in natural environments.

Why Now?
With more individuals gaining access to the DD Waiver in Virginia, the demand for TC services has grown significantly. Families need experienced BCBAs who can provide guidance, develop meaningful interventions, and empower caregivers to implement effective strategies.

If you’re interested in expanding your skill set, working beyond traditional ABA settings, and making a lasting impact, we’d love to connect with you!

🎉 Wrapping Up an Incredible Year at PosAbilities! 🎉

As 2024 comes to a close, we’re filled with gratitude and excitement for all we’ve achieved this year – and for what’s to come!

Here’s a look at some of the amazing milestones we’ve reached together:
✨ Expanded our social skills groups to offer more opportunities for connection and growth.
✨ Introduced Therapeutic Consultation services to provide even more comprehensive support to our clients.
✨ Launched our Early Intervention Program, empowering young learners and their families during critical developmental stages.
✨ Secured licensure for the PosAbilities Pathways Adult Day Program, paving the way to serve even more individuals in our community.

None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our incredible team and the unwavering support of the families we serve. 💙

Looking ahead to 2025, we’re thrilled about:
