The idea of Peachy Services first started in Summer 2016 after encountering an injury that caused a drop to my sport and fitness lifestyle. I began to research for alternative options to maintain my physical appearance. I ran into the topic of Microcurrent and the variety of benefits it consists of. As I continued to study Microcurrent, I began to research other types of energy being used for healing, anti-aging, and fat reduction. This is when I became interested in Laser Liposuction, Liposuction Cavitation, Radio Frequency and Vacuum Therapy. For almost two years, I spent most of my time researching and learning about this topic. I booked several appointments to experience these wonderful treatments and immediately told myself, “I must bring this to the upstate!”
After experiencing a few of these services, I decided this was something I wanted to bring to the Upstate market at an affordable price. At the time, I had just graduated college with a Bachelors in Business Administration and lived an active, fit and healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately, that all came close to an end when I injured my knee playing basketball. I was extremely overwhelmed about the entire situation and began to think about the consequences of not being able to be fully active as before. These services were the answer to getting myself looking and feeling great without placing myself at risk.
Before it was easy for me to advise others to go to the gym and partake in a sport. It was easy for me to tell full-time mothers to squeeze in additional time for at- home workouts. It seemed as if everyone had an excuse as to why they did not carry a fit and active lifestyle. It was all so easy to tell them to be active and find time to get fit until I experienced my own excuse- my knee injury. Whether you are experiencing any physical conditions that limit exercise and activity, hormonal changes or just lack of time due to an overloaded schedule, you will see improvement with these services.
In the mist of having my first “big girl” job, I left the idea of bringing these services to the Upstate on hold and dedicated my time to the workplace. I slowly weaved myself back into the gym and began to live a fit lifestyle again. After injuring my knee in basketball, I never took the initiative of going to the doctor and fixing the problem until this year 2019. Unfortunately when you decide to just “sweep it under the rug” it will come back to haunt you. One day while attempting jumping squats, I experienced the worst pain ever. I immediately regretted not handling this situation when it first occurred. After numerous doctor visits, I received surgery this year and needed time to recover which meant bye bye gym. This was a sign for me. It was time to bring these services to the Upstate. It was time to help others gain that extra boost of confidence they needed. I now understand the “excuses” that people had.
