Have no fear, I did NOT forget my post of the day. I bring you; the limerick.

Old Pa Paw Polyp once claimed,
“The world must be broken, then tamed.”
With scripture and steel,
He turned every wheel,
And smiled as the cities were maimed.

He whispered of order through fire,
Of ash as a cleansing desire.
While children fell ill,
He sat cold and still,
Declaring the end would inspire.

He spoke of the markets and fate,
Of empire and war-torn estate.
But down in the cracks,
The truth slipped through facts:
He just liked the power and hate.

No crown made of gold or of bone
Can soften the rot in his tone.
He plots from his chair,
Breath thin in stale air—
A king in a kingdom of stone.
