Continuous Blood Glucose Monitoring Update! We have learned so much over the past two weeks!
🩸How you think you eat isn’t always reality! I personally realized my macros were off from what “optimal” eating would indicate! This can affect your blood sugar levels.
🩸 The order you eat your food in matters! Eat protein and fat first to slow down the absorption of sugar.
🩸High highs and low lows has an impact on your adrenals! I was spiking after a meal and crashing about two hours later. This is when I would typically grab a snack and “spike my levels again”. Keeping my blood sugar levels from spiking kept me from feeling like I needed to grab a snack, take a nap, or have another cup of coffee!
Insulin and glucose levels have their impact on your entire body. The nicer you treat your body now, the better it will treat you when we are much older!
