You wouldn’t run a marathon without training — so why are women expected to give birth without preparing their bodies? 🤰🏼

Pregnancy and birth are some of the most intense physical events you’ll ever go through.

Your body needs strength, endurance, coordination — and support. That’s where pelvic floor therapy comes in. 💜

✨ At Warrior PT, we believe pelvic floor therapy IS prenatal care.✨

Not a luxury. Not a “nice to have.” A vital part of your birth team.

Here’s why it matters:

🧠 Improves brain-to-core connection
🧘‍♀️ Reduces tearing + supports baby’s position
💥 Manages pressure to prevent pain, leaks + prolapse
❤️‍🩹 Prepares your body for a smoother recovery

And this isn’t just about now — it’s about your future self.

What happens during pregnancy can show up years later… unless we train your body to do what it’s built to do.

This is preventative care. This is birth prep. This is your permission to feel strong, supported, and ready.

Because you deserve more than “just get through it.” You deserve to feel in control, confident, and cared for.

📩 Book your prenatal pelvic floor assessment today.

Let Warrior PT help you prepare for one of the most powerful things your body will ever do.

💜 Because birth isn’t something you “bounce back” from — it’s something you train for. And mama, you were made for this.

Think you have a “weak” pelvic floor? It might actually be too tight. And yes — BOTH can cause leaking, pressure, and pelvic pain! 👉 Swipe to learn the difference!!

So what’s the difference?

👉 A weak pelvic floor needs support + strength.
👉 A tight pelvic floor needs relaxation + release.

Knowing the difference between a weak and tight pelvic floor matters because the symptoms can look the same — but the treatment is completely different.

💡Without the right approach, you could be doing all the “right” things and still feel stuck.

That’s where I come in 🙋‍♀️ As a pelvic floor PT, I help women get clear on what their body actually needs so they can stop guessing, start healing, and finally feel confident + in control again.

✨You don’t have to live like this. You just need the right plan.

📩 Click the link in my bio or DM me to book a session with me today & let’s create a personalized path to pelvic floor healing — whether it’s strength, release, or a little bit of both. 💜

👀 Thinking about pelvic floor therapy?

Swipe to learn what EVERY new client asks when they first start! (+3 more questions you should be asking in the caption!)

Starting pelvic floor therapy can feel overwhelming — but you’re not alone. Here are some top questions I get asked often, and I’m here to give you real answers.

🔥 1. What is pelvic floor therapy, and how does it work?
It’s not just about Kegels. Pelvic floor therapy helps strengthen, relax, and coordinate the muscles that support your bladder, bowels, and core. It includes targeted exercises, hands-on techniques, and real education (not outdated myths) to stop leaks, pain, and pressure for good.

🔥 2. What should I expect during my first session?
We’ll go over your symptoms, history, and goals. I’ll check your posture, breathing, core strength, and pelvic floor function. If you’re comfortable, we may do an internal exam to see how your muscles are working together. No surprises—just answers and a plan.

🔥 3. How long will it take to see results?
It depends! Some clients notice improvements in weeks, but the key? Consistency. (And no, you don’t have to do 100 Kegels a day.)

💡 3 BONUS QUESTIONS you should be asking…
✅ Can pelvic floor therapy help with pain during s3X? (Hint: It’s NOT just about “relaxing.”)

✅ Will this help my back or hip pain? (Yes! Your pelvic floor is key to whole-body movement.)

✅ Can this prevent tearing or prolapse? (1000% yes. This should be standard in prenatal care!)

Pelvic floor therapy is for EVERY woman. No topic is off-limits, and no symptom is “just part of being a woman.”

I can’t think of a better reason for every pregnant mama to see a pelvic floor therapist!

Labor and birth require a huge amount of pelvic floor relaxation—something that doesn’t always come naturally. Plus, with the hormone relaxin increasing during pregnancy, the pelvic joints become more mobile, often causing the pelvic floor muscles to tighten up in response.

This means that during pregnancy, it’s not just about strength for stability—it’s also about learning how to release tension and fully relax the pelvic floor when it matters most.

This is exactly what I work on with my pregnant patients in my birth and push prep sessions!

Grateful for ongoing research that helps us better support women through pregnancy and birth.

Are you one of those women who hovers over a public toilet because “it’s gross”? 🤢👉🏻Swipe to discover how hovering can actually do more harm than good for your pelvic floor😬

Public restrooms aren’t the cleanest places, and it’s understandable why you might feel hesitant to sit down. But if you’re in the habit of hovering over the toilet seat, your pelvic floor could be paying the price.

When you hover, your pelvic floor muscles stay tense, making it harder to fully empty your bladder.

Over time, this can lead to frequent urges, incomplete emptying, & even increase your risk of UTIs. Not to mention, the strain on your muscles can contribute to pelvic pain and dysfunction.

✨Here’s the good news—public toilet seats aren’t as dirty as you think! Most bacteria 🦠 and viruses can’t harm you through your skin.

A better approach? 👉🏻Use a toilet seat cover, wipe the seat if needed, and most importantly—sit down and let your muscles relax.😄

Your pelvic health matters, and small habits like this can make a big difference.

🌟If you found this post helpful, save and share with your friends so they avoid hovering!
