Stress (cortisol) management is key for vital health. It can 'steal' the body's ability to function optimally, especially hormone production!

Check out some of the negative impacts that high, unmanaged cortisol can have on your health:

➖ Blocks the actions of insulin to stimulate muscle to take up glucose.
➖Enhances the storage of energy into fat (mostly abdominal).
➖Promotes the loss of protein from muscle— converting it to fat.
➖Causes minerals to be lost from the bone.
➖Too much will suppress the immune system— more prone to infection.

Challenged with migraines?  Try this vitamin for prevention and reversal!

Migraines can be related to your genes, BUT this doesn’t mean you have to live with them. 

Understanding the epigenetic factors can potentially help you override any genetic weakness, such as a vitamin B2 deficiency!

There is a connection between under-functioning mitochondria and migraines. 

This vitamin is involved with an enzyme that helps preserve the aerobic metabolism in your mitochondria. It also helps you build up glutathione (detoxing nutrient).

Riboflavin (vitamin B2) deficiency is the vitamin deficiency often involved with migraines. 

If you have a genetic problem in your mitochondria, you may need more vitamin B2. Vitamin B2 helps allow oxygen to work through the mitochondria. 

If you want to know how to get rid of a migraine if you already have one, consider taking 100 mg of vitamin B2 every hour until your migraine symptoms are gone—but don't exceed 400 mg per day. 

Other considerations:

+ Uptake in sodium (sea salt, celtic salt, desert salt)

+ Ginger

+ Turmeric.
