Every young person deserves the chance to live their dreams and discover their passions. But right now, fentanyl (the powerful synthetic opioid driving the overdose crisis) is putting too many lives at risk.

Here’s what we want every family and community to know:

You can’t see, smell, or taste fentanyl. Counterfeit pills and other drugs can be laced with it—making every choice more dangerous.

Simple steps save lives:
• Carry naloxone. It can reverse an overdose and is available without a prescription in most states.
• Talk with your kids about never taking a pill unless it came from a pharmacy. Fake pills are out there, and they can be deadly.
• Learn about fentanyl test strips. They can detect fentanyl in some drugs, though no test is foolproof.

Let’s protect the next generation together. Share this message, start the conversation at home, and help spread hope, not fear.

One month away until we Celebrate Recovery Month at Rally (Caps) for Recovery! Put your baseball caps on and cheer on the Minnesota Twins at Target Field. Game starts at 6:40, but get there early to hear the Recovery Works pre-game talk and see a community member throw out the first pitch. ASL interpretation will be provided for the pre-game activities.

Tickets are $16 and hot dogs are just $1 at the Hennepin Grille!
