Based in Everett, and serving Snohomish County, Bridgeways incorporated in 1981. While our array of programs and methods of delivering services has evolved to meet changing community needs, the ever-shifting healthcare landscape, and taking into account services offered by other providers in Snohomish County – our essential mission has remained the same since 1981.
We partner primarily with Medicaid-eligible adults who have experienced challenges related to employment, housing, or engagement with services due to symptoms of a mental illness. At entry, clients are often unemployed, precariously housed, and living in very low-income situations.
Bridgeways helps people living with mental illness achieve and maintain wellness, stability, and connection through our array of supportive services and our social enterprise.
Through our manufacturing social enterprise, we create and sustain precious jobs for adults living with mental illness who have faced past challenges to employment.
Core capabilities include mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, die cutting, bond and seal, and small tool refurbishment. Our operations maintain AS9100D and ISO9001:2015 certifications.
Bridgeways is committed to quality, value, and customer service. Our team seeks to understand each customer’s unique requirements and find solutions to tough challenges.
Our array of supportive services in the community include:
Supported Employment - We partner with clients who have experienced challenges finding or keeping a job due to symptoms of a mental illness. Our goal is to help clients find and keep a job in the community that aligns with their interests, skills, abilities, and experiences.
Housing Supports - We work with clients to ensure housing stability, while addressing mental health concerns that may have previously led to homelessness, or challenges engaging with services.
Court Program - Bridgeways is part of the innovative Mental Health Alternatives Program (MAP) – a problem-solving, therapeutic court within Everett Municipal and Marysville Municipal courts. Our MAP Liaison works intensively with MAP participants to coordinate and support mental health and substance use disorder treatment. Participation in MAP reduces the rate of recidivism by providing participants with a treatment-focused alternative to incarceration, and helps defendants get off the cycle of repeat offenses that sidetracks, delays, or precludes stability and wellness.
