Today we had the opportunity to assist Cromwell FD, Strother FD, Seminole county emergency management, and Seminole FD/EMS in a DUI mock scene for Butner School.

Opportunities like this help educate our youth on the dangers of drinking and driving.

Providing access doesn't stop because it's cold, and neither does training! With help from Seminole Fire Department we were able to complete a mock flight for one of our new hires, Amanda. Mock flights are a beneficial part of the initial new hire process in getting the flight crews prepared for their first successful patient flight. Be on the lookout for Amanda in the upcoming days!

Our Air Evac Lifeteam and Med-Trans Corporation teams are proud to be the first and only air medical providers to bring plasma to every corner of Oklahoma. Full implementation is anticipated by the end of 2025, with this service equipping all air medical helicopters with the life-saving blood component, plasma, ensuring critical care is available at a moment's notice. This National Blood Donor Month, we recognize the vital role that blood donors play in saving lives, and we are committed to supporting our communities by providing essential resources when and where they are needed.

Warm welcome to our newest crew member Kellan, on his first successful patient flight. Presenting him with his wings is his partner, Brittney. Kellan brings lots of experience to the base and we're glad to have him.

One year ago today started as a day like any other. These three heroes were doing what they loved and that was caring for people in need. Little did they know that later that night they would provide care for their last patient. Tragically, on their way back to be base they were lost in a crash.
We know in HEMS that there is risk but the crews still go out every day and care for those in need of care. These heroes were no different. They went and provided ACCESS.
Please take a few minutes to remember their families, friends and Air Evac family as we remember and cherish these heroes.
