My name is Olivia Kral Perry and I am a CBC/CLC. I went back to school after having two beautiful babies so that I could receive my certification on breastfeeding and lactation because this truly is my passion. After having one failed breastfeeding journey and then one successful one (exclusively pumping) I realize most women do not receive the information or support they need to be successful at breastfeeding.
Many new moms are told false info on breastfeeding and do not have the support of educated professionals ( not all OBGYN’s, Pediatricians, or nurses are breastfeeding educated on breastfeeding) to turn to. This pushed me to become educated on the matter and be the change needed. The need for breastfeeding information and support is great but the number of people qualified to help is extremely low. With that being said my goal is to help educate and support as many women on their breastfeeding journey as possible
