🌟 Team Highlight: Bailee Romo, Myopia Management Director 🌟
At Stone Oak Vision Source, we’re not just about eye care—we’re about making a difference in the lives of our patients, and that takes a special kind of dedication. Bailee Romo, our incredible Myopia Management Director, embodies that passion every day.
Yesterday, Bailee gave up her Sunday—our normal day off—to help a young 8 year old patient, who was referred to us with one of the more severe cases of progressive myopia I’ve seen. This child’s family drove over 3 hours to see us, and we wanted to make every moment of their time count.
Bailee went above and beyond to ensure this young patient got the attention and care they needed. After countless hours of contact lens I&R teaching, we finally were successful in fitting her with -7.00 MiSight lenses in both eyes, and she will wear these lenses in conjunction with Atropine drop therapy! Her unwavering commitment to myopia management and her compassion for our patients make her an invaluable part of our team.
