Job Position: Companions.
Position Location: Washington DC
We have immediate positions for private care in private homes. These positions require basic assistance with activities of daily living to include but not limited to help with meals preparation help with mobility walking help with toiletry Basic supervision etc.........

Must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations:
1- Follows the instructions of the Client Support Coordinator in providing personal assistance services.
2- Provide assistance with hygiene such as bathing, oral care, and dressing.
3- Assist with food preparation; serve food, performs errands, light housekeeping, laundry, wash dishes.
4- have knowledge of agency policy and procedures.
5- Observes and reports any safety hazards found in the client’s home or any significant observations regarding the client.
6- Report client’s complaints to the Client Service Coordinator.
7- Maintains Client’s confidentiality/ adheres to HIPAA requirements and agency policy and procedures manual.
8- Possesses the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
9- Personal Care Services including:
. Basic Personal Care ( bathing, grooming, dressing, and assistance with toileting)
. Assisting with incontinence, including bed pan use, protective underwear.
. Assisting the client with self administration of medication.
. Meal preparation in accordance with dietary guidelines, and assistance with eating.
. Implement universal precautions to ensure infection control.
. Tasks related to keeping the client’s living area in a condition that promotes the client’s health and comfort.
. Accompanying and/or transporting the client to medical appointments, to the client’s place of employment, and to recreational activities.
. Shopping for items related to promoting the client’s nutritional status and other health needs.
. providing companion services.
. Report abnormal findings in client’s conditions as observed and per service plan to the Client Service Coordinator.
