Some of our adult program participants got to go river rafting this summer and had an amazing time on the water. It is because of our Recreation program that we are able to provide these kinds of experiences to our program participants. Thanks to your support these programs are possible!

Once again, this year we had the amazing opportunity to take a group of our recreation participants to Monterey Bay to have an inclusive and adapted scuba lesson! The kiddos and their families had the best time experiencing the aquarium, the water, and Monterey.

UCP of Sacramento and Northern California will be hosting a drop-in interview day on Friday, July 11 from 10:30am – 1:30pm at the UCP Admin Office located at 4350 Auburn Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95841.

UCP is looking to hire new employees for Direct Service Professionals and Transportation Drivers (Class B). For more information on the job descriptions visit www.ucpsacto.org/job-openings/

Direct Service Professionals – support adults with intellectual disabilities Monday-Friday at one of our seven adult day program locations.

Transportation Drivers – support UCP program participants in getting to and from their programs Monday-Friday. UCP is currently looking for individuals with a Class B license. All new transportation hires can earn a $1000 hiring bonus.

Potential employees should bring a copy of their resume if they have one available and arrive prepared to be interviewed onsite.

UCP's Woodland Community Options Adult Day Program celebrated the 4th of July a little early with a BBQ, bubbles, and a little time in the bark.

UCP will be closed today for the 4th of July holiday.

Thank you to Free Books for Kids for stopping by our Odyssey program to fill up the library. Program participants are excited to read all the new to them books!

Yesterday we gave 250 books to UCP of Sacramento and Northern California. Their adult day program lost its library when it changed locations. What, no books? Not anymore!
