I recently came across an amazing nonprofit called on Instagram that is doing critical, legitimate work in Gaza, and they urgently need our help.

Famine is tightening its grip, families are going days without food, and people are collapsing from hunger in the streets.

The Zaynab Project is delivering bread, clean water, food, cash, and medical assistance directly to the most vulnerable, sourcing everything locally inside Gaza despite dramatically rising prices.

They recently raised $40,000, which is being matched, allowing them to secure a large stock of flour, distribute bread across camps in both the north and south, and double water deliveries to almost 50,000 liters a day. But the need is still urgent, and funds are being spent faster than they come in.

Some people complain, and others take action. Let’s choose to act.

❤️ Please support them by donating via their Linktree: linktr.ee/thezaynabproject, and follow on Instagram. Share this post, give what you can, every single dollar is doubled, and lives depend on it.

Having worked with people daily for many years, one thing that continues to stand out is how often a single thought triggers an emotion, which then triggers a reaction. Many individuals in recovery or those struggling with mental health challenges cope with life through unhealthy behaviors. For some, it may be substances. For others, it shows up as isolation, emotional eating, or impulsive behaviors. True healing begins with slowing down, sitting with your emotions, and allowing them to speak to you. Over time, choosing healthier habits, rituals, and routines creates space to respond differently, moving away from substances, isolation, or quick fixes, and closer to what you truly need.

*REPOST*

Health officials plan to crack down on kratom, an opioid-like substance found in tablets, gummies and drinkable shots commonly sold in convenience stores.
The Department of Health and Human Services said in an advisory that it is targeting potentially dangerous products made of 7-OH, a potent substance synthesized from a compound in the kratom leaf, which grows on trees native to Southeast Asia. The Food and Drug Administration, researchers and kratom companies have grown increasingly alarmed by the rise of 7-OH products they say are distinct from all-natural plant teas and powders.
The FDA has warned that the use of 7-OH can lead to sedation, nausea, breathing problems and addiction.

Amid the nation’s drug crisis, kratom has become increasingly popular as users seek alternatives for pain or relief from opioid withdrawal symptoms.
Smoke shops, gas stations, convenience stores and online retailers across the U.S. sell to devoted users who champion the health benefits of all-natural kratom products on social media.

So many people I’ve talked to in recovery say the same thing,“If I had been educated on drugs when I was younger, maybe I wouldn’t have gone down that road.”This isn’t about blaming free range parenting,it’s about making sure freedom is paired with awareness, education, and presence. If you’re a parent, ask the questions. Be curious, not controlling.Pay attention to what your kids are going through.A simple conversation could shift the entire direction of their life.

Parents, pay attention.Free-range parenting isn’t the problem—silence is.I’ve sat with hundreds of people in recovery, and so many say the same thing:“If someone had talked to me, really educated me on drugs… maybe I wouldn’t have gone down this path.”Too many kids are growing up with freedom, but no guidance. No conversations. No awareness. If you’re a parent, a teacher, or working in treatment—Start the conversation.Don’t wait for rock bottom.

Sitting down with Mark, owner of Pacific Shores and author of The Recovery Way. In this series, we’re diving into some powerful questions from his book. For this first one, I asked: What’s one idea from the book that can truly help transform someone struggling with addiction and shift their perspective?

That’s why visualization is so powerful. When you imagine your future in detail, the same parts of your brain fire as if you’re actually living it. This is called neuroplasticity—and it’s the foundation of why manifestation works when paired with action.

Yesterday had the privilege of sitting down with , an incredible man, veteran, great friend, and proud alumni. His transformation has been nothing short of inspiring, and his bright spirit lights up any room.

Thank you, Sam, for being so open, honest, and willing to share your story during this interview with Mark. You’re a good soul and truly a weapon for good. Grateful to have met you and looking forward to connecting more.

Much love, Sam—you’re the man!

Got to sit down with from on his podcast and dive into what is all about. I shared how I work one-on-one with individuals, whether they go into treatment or not, and what the process looks like when someone works with me during treatment.

About 8 out of 10 people I work with end up going to treatment first, and I become that consistent person they connect with before treatment even begins. Once they start treatment, I collaborate with the clinical team, offering insight that helps create a highly individualized plan. Together, we work to identify and heal the core parts of themselves that need attention.

When they complete treatment, I stay with them to introduce new rituals and habits that are often not available in a treatment setting, and I provide the consistency that is key for real transformation. You cannot fix a decade of behaviors in 30, 60, or even 90 days, so most people stay with me for up to a year to build lasting change.
