At MorningStar of Beaverton, we know that sometimes the simplest activities can have the biggest impact. Our residents enjoyed a fun and purposeful life skills activity — sorting socks and folding laundry — all while sharpening their minds and staying engaged.

It’s more than just chores — it’s a way to stay active, connect with others, and enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done. Plus, it sparked plenty of memories and conversations along the way!

When the temperatures rise, we bring the fun indoors at MorningStar of Beaverton! Our residents stayed cool while enjoying some friendly competition with a few rounds of bingo and a classic game of corn hole.

Congratulations to our July *Heart of Gold* winner, resident Linda B.! 💛

Linda is a retired nurse who dedicated 25 years to caring for others, including a decade of service in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her passion for helping people shone through in every patient interaction, always striving to bring comfort and compassion.

Beyond her nursing career, Linda once raised and bred pygmy goats, proudly showcasing them at the Clark County Fair.

Today, she finds joy in community life—sharing, “The best thing about living at MorningStar is the staff and fellow residents. I also love the games… especially bingo!”

Thank you, Linda, for your warmth, kindness, and the many ways you brighten our community.
