Dr Sarah discusses one of the most common causes of neck pain we see in clinic: facet-mediated pain. She explains how these synovial joints run from the base of the skull down the back and facilitate extension, lateral bending, and rotation. When injured or arthritic, they cause muscle spasms and stiffness. While standard treatments like medial branch blocks and radiofrequency ablation provide temporary relief, she highlights how orthobiologics—including PRP, A*M, bone marrow, and fat derived stem cells—offer long-lasting solutions by actually healing the joint. She also explain how orthobiologics allow us to take a more comprehensive approach by treating not just individual joints, but also the supporting structures around them, providing holistic pain relief. We discuss the critical importance of cervical cancer screening, including PAP smears and HPV testing, which have reduced cervical cancer risk from 5% to 0.5%. We explain how these preventative screenings detect pre-cancerous cells before they progress to cancer, and emphasize the need for regular testing every three to five years. We also highlight the importance of annual well woman exams for breast cancer risk assessment and overall health monitoring, encouraging viewers to prioritize prevention and ensure their friends and family do the same. ✨ “Oops” moments don’t have to be part of getting older. ✨

If you’ve ever leaked a little when you laugh, sneeze, or exercise… you’re not alone. This is called stress urinary incontinence, and it affects millions of women—especially as estrogen drops during menopause and vaginal tissue begins to thin. 💧

But here’s the good news 👉 Regenerative medicine is changing the game.

Treatments like PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and other orthobiologics can:
🌸 Increase blood flow
🌸 Restore tissue health
🌸 Reverse age-related thinning
🌸 Help you regain control + confidence

It’s a safe, natural option that works with your body to support healing and restore quality of life. 💪💖

I’ve talked about the important role the gut plays in our lives and how it impacts our wellbeing.

In a groundbreaking study, scientists have pinpointed two specific gut bacteria that may play a direct role in triggering multiple sclerosis (MS) — a finding that could pave the way for new treatments or even prevention strategies.

👥 Researchers at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich studied 81 identical twin pairs — where one twin had MS and the other did not — and uncovered striking differences in their gut microbiomes.

🚨 The suspects?

Eisenbergiella tayi and Lachnoclostridium — bacteria found in much higher levels in the twins with MS. When introduced into mice, these microbes caused MS-like symptoms.

💡 It’s the most compelling evidence yet connecting gut health to MS. By manipulating the microbiome, we may be able to halt or slow the progression of this autoimmune disease.

The gut-brain axis just became even more critical to understanding neurological health.
