let’s talk scars. here are snap shots of scar and swelling progression through tummy tuck recovery. scars will continue to fade beyond the 6 month mark you see here. note how the contour improves as well as the belly button appearance. the lower tummy tuck scar often fades first on the sides because there’s less tension there. silicone scar sheets temporarily cause scars to be more red due to increase blood flow but this is temporary and I highly recommend 🙏🏻 this patient also had a subfascial breast augmentation, recovery is cut in half and is an excellent option for appropriate candidates. stay tuned for 1 yr results
