It was a beautiful sunset across the blue ridge mountains. During quiet moments like these, I think about the mistakes made and the lessons I learned along the way, however big or small they may be. I don’t need to be the first or top-ten or the most famous. I am just happy to have the freedom to choose what I do daily. I am so grateful that my patients trust me to take good care of them. And yes, I do my best because I choose to.

After seeing scheduled postop patients this morning, I headed to UVA for semester-end chamber music recital. There were seven chamber groups total this semester. My violinist’s mom said our group was the best in the lineup. She’s right. Our group totally rocked.

This is immediately after lip augmentation with filler. She wanted to show off the outcome because she loved it right away.

My personal philosophy with cosmetic procedures is to beautify gracefully. I want my patients to look great within the norms of beauty without looking obviously “done.” She’s a great example of transforming from beautiful to even more beautiful. With time, the swelling will settle. She will love her lips even more then.

Got lumps? It might be benign but still annoying as heck. Getting it removed is easy, and the lump can be sent for laboratory analysis for identification. This young lady had a benign nevus (mole). Now she’s nevus-free!!
