To the woman quietly holding it all together…
You’re the one they lean on.
For appointments, meals, and medications.
For comfort, answers, and everything.
And you keep showing up.
Even when your eyes burn from exhaustion, or your
body aches from doing “just one more thing.”
Even when your heart feels like it’s breaking a little at a time.
I see you. 💜
Because I am you.
I know what it’s like to be the daughter, the wife, the mom, the caregiver…
and to wonder what’s left for you.
There’s a fatigue no nap can fix.
A heaviness that comes from being the strong one
for everyone else.
But hear me, gently and clearly:
You matter, too. 🤗
Your needs. Your body. Your heart. Your dreams.
You were never meant to disappear inside of caregiving.
You’re allowed to need rest, be supported, and take care of yourself without guilt.
Because the truth is:
We can’t pour from an empty cup.
And we sure as hell can’t model self-worth for our children If we keep treating ourselves like an afterthought.
This is your reminder:
You’re not selfish for choosing you.
You’re wise, brave, and human.
Let’s stop pretending we’re fine when we’re unraveling inside and start nourishing ourselves the way we pour into others.
You’re not alone in this.
I’m right here in it with you, choosing to stay well, even in the hard.
If this hit home, I’d love to hear from you.
DM me or drop a 💜 if you needed this today.
