Civil War era Fisher anvil added to the collection. This was the first logo used on Fisher anvils, and was made in Trenton New Jersey between 1860-1870ish. The logo very much resembles the breastplates used by union soldiers during the American Civil War. At only 50lb this was not a very common size making even more rare. This one is definitely coming in the house.

Indoor handmade only craft show today and tomorrow. I'll be setup in Burlington for the Handmade at the Armory event. This evening from 6-9 and tomorrow 10-3. Lots of vendors, food trucks, Easter Bunny, touch a truck, and live music on Saturday. Link to the event in the comments.

Got this old lever action forge back in working condition. It was all seized up from sitting for who knows how long. Blower wasn't blowing, ratchet wasn't ratcheting. But with a little effort it's ready to work again. I like the old stuff because they were simple and built to last. Still not able to forge much but I have been cleaning up and repairing some of these old tools to free up some space in my shop. If anyone needs a forge let me know I have a few available.

Unfortunately, to avoid getting more backed up I won't be taking anymore orders until I can get back in the shop on a regular basis. To the ones that already have orders in I will be in touch and do my best to get them out as soon as I can. Officially shutting down now but in reality I've only been able to work a handful of days since November. We believe we've finally figured out the issue ( anterior cutaneous nerve entrapment syndrome) and have started a round of injections to hopefully get me back at it. In the meantime I'll still be buying and selling tools and forging when I'm able to. I also have a couple shows scheduled for this spring if anyone is interested in the stock I already have made up. I'll post info on those when we get closer to the show dates. Hopefully these new doctors can get this under control before I go crazy. All I want to do is play with my tools and make stuff. Getting old is for the birds. I appreciate yall and will keep you updated
