Environmental Access is the process of adapting the workplace, residence, and/or general environment to promote independence, safety and functional ability for the physically challenged and aging individuals. We are proud of our Master Certified Environmental Access Consultant Joseph Heagy. His is a qualified specialist in Accessible home modification, and has been uniquely trained and credentialed to provide appropriate solutions for complete design specifications, building, remodeling, code compliance consulting, ADL assessments, and aging-in-place needs. The impact of modifications for a disables and aging individuals home and work environment is vital. The C.E.A.C. certification was created to reduce the disparity in training and practice found among professionals who evaluate environmental needs of the aging-in place and physically challenged. The Certified Environmental Access Consultant credential was launched to answer the distinct need for a formal education by providing a foundation of education to best evaluate the customers’ to match their abilities, and to recommend appropriate product solutions and modifications.
