We were given the opportunity to make some special custom frames and lenses for a woman who doesn’t get around so well. She uses her tablet, laptop, and computer a lot. Because she is in a wheel chair, we needed to measure the distance to these devices and make lenses that were not traditional but would work just for her. She also requested a custom tint due to the harsh lighting in her apartment. We were crossing our fingers that she would be able to see better than ever before and were so excited that she can! Darleen was so happy that she decided to write an article for the Allegria Village newsletter. The article is posted below;

A GREAT EXPERIENCE
I went to a presentation for 2Uvision and was very impressed with the information
and eye exercises. They really do work. I made an appointment with Petra and
learned more about their program. YES, THEY DO COME TO YOUR APARTMENT!
The next step was an eye examination right in my own chair. No waiting, no
transportation and very personal. Yaakov Zacks, D.O. and his assistant arrived and
were just great. The exam was very thorough. No rush, all questions answered.
I received my script for my prescription. No pressure to use their glasses. I chose theirs.
Petra came to my apartment with a cart full of different styles and colors. I had lots to
choose from. She measured my face, as they make them to fit and there is no heavy
nose piece. Regular, bi and trifocals are all available. Colored lenses in every shade.
Even ones that can change a little when you go out in the sun. Petra and Paul
delivered them on Saturday. All of this in the comfort of my own apartment.
The glasses fit beautifully, and I can read and use my computer much, much better.
All of this can be done even if you are in a chair, wheelchair or bed.

🌟 Met an incredible lady on Independence Day! 🌟
Can you believe it? This lovely soul is in her late 90s and she's as vibrant as ever! 🔥 We had the pleasure of helping her find the perfect pair of polarized fit overs, and it was a joy to see her eyes light up with excitement! ✨
Age is just a number when you've got that sparkle within! Let's all take a moment to appreciate the beauty and resilience of our amazing senior citizens. 💖

June 6 is National Eyewear Day! Have you scheduled your yearly comprehensive exam with our visiting Optometrist?! It's a good idea to keep up with regular exams to have accurate prescriptions to prevent future eye issues.
