Celebrate Recovery open-share groups offer a safe and confidential space for individuals to find healing from life's hurts, habits, and hang-ups through a Christ-centered approach. These groups are gender-specific and based on a particular hurt, habit, or hang-up, providing a supportive environment to share experiences, strengths, and hopes.

Participants can find freedom from a variety of struggles, including addiction, co-dependency, anger, and other life challenges. Also, sense of belonging and connection with others who are on a similar path to recovery.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭24‬-‭25‬ ‭

🌿 Celebrate Recovery I "Let go and let God."
Sometimes the hardest step is surrender—but it’s also the most freeing.

🙏 Prayer
Father God,
Help me to release what I’ve been trying to control and surrender it into Your hands. I’m tired of carrying this burden alone. Give me the courage to trust You with my past, my pain, and my future. Take what I can’t fix and do what only You can do. I choose to let go and let You take the lead. Amen.

đź“– Bible Verse
"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
– 1 Peter 5:7 (NIV)

📝 Reflection
Letting go doesn't mean giving up—it means giving it to God. In recovery, we learn that freedom doesn’t come from controlling every outcome, but from surrendering our lives to a loving and powerful God. When we loosen our grip, we make room for His peace, healing, and transformation.

Recovery, whether physical, emotional, or mental, takes time, patience, and consistent effort. It’s a process of healing, growth, and self-awareness. Sometimes, progress may feel slow or even impossible, but it’s essential to trust the journey and take things one step at a time.

Step 1. We admitted we were powerless over our addictions and compulsive behaviours and that our lives had become unmanageable.

I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.
Romans 7:18

🌟 Following Jesus in Recovery 🌟

In Celebrate Recovery, we learn that true healing comes from having a relationship with Jesus Christ. When we follow Him, we find strength, peace, and the courage to face our Hurts, Hang-ups, and Habits. He never leaves us, no matter how hard the journey gets.

Today, let's surrender our fears and failures to Him, knowing that His grace is greater than all our mistakes.

🙏 Prayer: "Lord, thank You for being with me every step of the way. I surrender my struggles, my hurts, my hang-ups and my habits to You. Help me follow You more closely today and give me the strength to trust in Your plan. I know with You, all things are possible. In Jesus' name, Amen."

📖 Bible Verse: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 (NIV)

Let’s walk this journey together and experience the transformation that only Jesus can bring.
