July 23 was National Egyptian Day & our residents made beautiful, imitation, Egyptian Faience Bowls. Faience is a man-made ceramic material that was often used in ancient Egypt to make jewelry & devotional objects. We enjoyed celebrating the ancient Egyptian culture, which includes strong family values, respect for elders, and a deep-seated sense of community & hospitality.

What a great afternoon Carnival Party! The residents had so much fun. Again, we couldn't make all of this happen without our precious volunteers & donors.
