Feeding your baby affects your pelvic floor - no matter how you do it 😮
Whether you breastfeed, pump, and/or bottle feed, it can affect your pelvic health.
This can happen for a number of reasons, but let’s just talk about the posture issue.
Habitually holding/feeding our baby and pumping with rounded shoulders, tense abs and thighs, and forward head posture makes it challenging for our pelvic floor to thrive.
Next time do a body check and see if there’s any tension you can release. Sit a little taller or lean back. Place your feed flat on the floor. Relax your jaw. Put your phone down.
Your pelvis will thank you.
