Closing Notice
As of Friday, January 31, 2025, Comfort and Wellness Massage will be closed permanently. Jules Beck of Jewels Bodywork (now SPACE Bodywork + Movement) has moved into our physical location and is providing massage for our clients. Amy (one of our former therapists) is staying here to work with Jules. Please visit their website at https://space-avl.com/ or call 828-423-5601 to schedule any future massages.

Weather Update: Because of the forecast of snow tomorrow, and because we are following the local school closure schedule, we have decided to close the office tomorrow and cancel all appointments. Comfort and Wellness Massage Closing

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Comfort and Wellness Massage will be closing at the end of January 2025. We have not made this decision lightly, but with the effects of Hurricane Helene on Asheville, Chloe and her husband Damien have decided to move to Charlotte to be closer to family for the next stage of their lives. Without Chloe, and without Stephanie, who also left as a result of the hurricane, it is not feasible for us to continue providing services here.

We are in the process of meeting with a couple of local, independently-owned massage therapy offices to see if they might be interested in our space or in continuing services for our clients. We will keep you posted on the progress of those opportunities.

We treasure the relationships we have made here with all of you and will miss you terribly. We appreciate the support you have shown us over the past 3 years, and some even longer as you followed Chloe from her previous employment. Our goal has been to provide you with high quality, professional massage, but you provided us with smiling faces, massage brain, and love, which is infinitely better! We will never forget you!

Housekeeping

For those who are on monthly package subscriptions, all massages must be used by the end of January 2025, obviously. We will not bill in advance for any January packages. Instead, once you have used all of your prepaid package massages, we will simply charge your package rate for any massages as you come in January.

As indicated when we reopened at the end of October, if you have one of our Labor Day 2024 packages, all of those massages must be used by the end of January 2025. Also, any outstanding Gift Certificates or Gift Cards must be redeemed by the time we close.

Reopening Tomorrow!

We appreciate your patience during our unexpected closure due to Hurricane Helene. We are happy to announce that starting tomorrow (Friday, October 25) Comfort and Wellness Massage is reopening on a limited schedule of Thursdays through Saturdays. We are excited to see you again soon!

Special Note

Unfortunately, because of the hurricane, Stephanie has made the difficult decision to move back to Nashville to be near family so we won't have her here anymore. We are really sad to lose her but wish her well in her move. If you have any appointments scheduled with her, we will be contacting you to reschedule with another therapist.

If you have monthly packages with us, we paused any billings the day the hurricane hit. Please watch for a separate email regarding your status and the restarting of those billings. Also, for anyone who purchased our special Labor Day packages, we have extended the expiration an extra month to allow for the month we were closed. You will now be able to use those massages through the end of January, 2025.

Just a quick update to our situation:

We do have power at our office now, but as with much of Asheville, we are still without water. Without water we are unable to wash the sheets and towels used with each massage. Once water is restored we will be able to reopen and provide massage again. We will keep you posted as things progress. We miss you all and can’t wait to see you again soon!

CLOSED DUE TO POWER OUTAGE
Because of the mass power outages in and around Asheville, our office is closed until power is restored. Our phones are also down so if you need to contact us, please email us at comfortandwellnessmassage@gmail.com. If you had an appointment scheduled for this week, we have canceled it. Once we are able to open again we will contact you to reschedule. We will also send an email to all of our clients to keep you apprised of the situation. Everyone please stay safe. We will see you when this has passed.
