Family Matters Counseling Family Matters Counseling Services offers in-person and online counseling for individuals, couples and children.

Our group provides thoughtful and evidence-based approaches to navigating life transitions, and processing life's challenges. Family Matters exists because often what matters the most to us can bring us the most joy or the most pain. A full life involves conflict, disappointment and growth. Some things are out of control; others are within our ability to change. Some say wisdom lies in knowing the

difference - and we would add that understanding oneself and taking action follows next. Human beings thrive when supported by other people to help them make sense of their experiences. Our skilled therapists provide the space and feedback to help our clients grow through life's challenges.

To our incredible community,

Amidst the festive cheer, we recognize the spectrum of feelings that may reside within each of us. Whether joy, nostalgia, or a mix of both, let's navigate together with self-care as our compass.

Take a moment for reflection, embrace the ebb and flow, and remember that your emotions are valid. 💙✨ In the gentle dance of highs and lows, find solace in self-love. Reach out, connect, and know that you're not alone.

Wishing you a holiday season filled with understanding, compassion, and moments of self-care that nurture your heart. 🌲❤️ Your journey matters, and we're here to support you every step of the way. 🌟

Warm regards,
FMCS

🌟 Happy Monday 🌟 Change can be difficult. These 5 stages of change give us valuable information around where we stand on the motivation scale.
1️⃣ Start by thinking about your goals and what you want.
2️⃣ Find balance in contemplating, weighting possibilities, and evolving thoughts.
3️⃣ Move to preparation, turning thoughts into plans with commitment.
4️⃣ The action stage is a bold step forward, a chapter of making transformative moves.
5️⃣ As you step into the maintenance stage, celebrate not just milestones, but the entire journey.
🌱 It's important to note that change doesn't happen in a linear fashion. Individuals may move back-and-forth between stages. Relapse is also a common part of the process, and individuals may find themselves revisiting earlier stages before successfully maintaining a behavior change. Reach out if you find yourself struggling to maintain a change or losing motivation to begin one.
